Sista, e kaugaka aua o ie o aso agamua, and I have sold many last year I sold 7 for a hundred thousand tala, all to tongans of royal and noble birth. If you have some really fine one let me know I can sell it as I have an established clientele with money

Sao foi oe, they are very beautiful things and I wounder how they did this in the old days as its very fine. I have had good and bad experiences with Tongans bying ie. they always try to rip us of and lying with out end. So I usually just sell to the royals and nobles as they never hagle over price. I am doing a book on these fine ie so if you have some then let me know about its history and where they come from. The finiest ie are called "Lauoa" - or strand of hair,because the weave is like a single hair strand just imagine the work that went into getting that done. They are all from Manua as the weavers of ancient Manua were the best. I have seen five Lauao in my life time and I still have two saved for my two nieces when they grow up and have families.
